Hepworth Place
2011
Hepworth Place is a unique project that was undertaken at the owners behest due to AP Designs facility with such ‘outside of the box’ concepts. Our client wanted to design a house constructed from shipping containers that he could then construct himself. The project was designed by the client and AP Design provided documentation and managed the building consent approvals process. Consent was granted in 2010 and construction began immediately. Due AP Designs interest in the success of this project a number of staff members contributed labour for the initial stages of the build. Today the house is a warm and inviting family home in which the client and his wife are raising their family. Located in the picturesque village of Tai-Tapu this is a project that warms the collective cockles of our hearts and AP design is proud to have been involved in realising the dream of our client.
